Membership Committee - Belonging to this committee is a great networking opportunity and a good training ground for leadership experience. This committee is responsible for recruiting new AMA Detroit members and retaining current members. Programming Committee - This very important committee organizes all the AMA Detroit Chapter's events each year and is responsible for finding speakers, setting the calendar, planning and executing each event. For questions regarding the Programming Committee, call Lynn Andrews at LAndrews@dow.com
Sponsorship Committee - This committee is vital to the financial success of the AMA Detroit. It identifies chapter needs that may be supported by sponsorships and coordinates programs to involve the business community in chapter affairs. Key activities include identifying companies to contact and pitching sponsorship ideas to local corporate contacts. Communications and PR - This committee is responsible for internal and external AMA Detroit Chapter Communications. Promoting our image to the business community is a critical success factor for the chapter. Committee activities include-but are not limited to-advertising/promotions, chapter newsletters, event promotion and ongoing member communications. Collegiate Relations - Involvement between students and professionals helps nurture and direct talent into the marketing profession.
